Based in Hull and serving the surrounding towns and villages, Lucy Turner DipCoFH MCFH is a fully qualified Foot Health Practitioner dedicated to helping you care for your feet. Whether you need regular toenail trimming or support with ongoing foot issues, Lucy can create a personalised treatment plan tailored to your needs or refer you to the appropriate specialist.

Toe nail trimming
Gentle, thorough nail trimming and skin care to keep your feet healthy and comfortable.
Ingrown nails
Careful removal of the painful nail “spike” and cleaning of the area to resolve discomfort and prevent inflammation.
Corn and callus removal
Gentle debridement of hard skin and painful corns using specialised tools to provide instant pressure relief.
Verruca
Assessment and debridement to gain more comfort walking and or the application of Verrutop to help clear the Verruca effectively. The options will be explained to the patient and then the patient can choose their preferred treatment plan.
Thickened nails
Nails can thicken for a variety of reasons. The cause will be determined and a plan put in place. Tinexyl PRO can be very effective in improving the condition and appearance of thickened nails. This can be bought from your Practitioner and applied under her direction.
Cracked heels
Professional debridment and filing of hard skin and application of clinical-grade balms to hydrate and soften the skin.
Fungal nails
Use of professional electric files to safely reduce nail thickness, and various treatment options the patient can choose from. It’s important to note nail fungus can take a long time to be eradicated and it’s important to be prepared for ongoing applications of treatment between visits. If this isn’t done then it may not be worth starting the treatment.
Diabetic foot care
Performance of vital neurovascular checks alongside specialised maintenance to prevent infection and ensure long-term foot health.

Lucy will come to your home for the appointment. Set up the equipment needed for the treatment. Complete an assessment of your health, background and concerns. Then explain the treatment plan. Carry out the work required on your feet and make an appointment for a follow up visit.
One-off or urgent consultations that are booked independently, rather than as part of a scheduled visit to the area incurs an additional charge of £10.
